Pennie Mgmt LLC ("BP," "we," "us") · Operating as Ask Pennie. Last update: July 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Pennie Mgmt LLC, operating as Ask Pennie, collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and services. The short version of our philosophy: we collect what we need to help you, we protect it, we never sell it, and you can have it deleted whenever you want.
1. Information we collect
- Information you provide: your name, email address, and mobile phone number when you submit a form on this site; the contents of messages and conversations you have with your advisor; and any information you choose to share during an offer review.
- Information from our partners: when you request financial offers through one of the financial service providers we work with and consent to be contacted, we may receive your contact information and information about the offers you received, so your advisor can help without making you start over.
- Credit information (with your permission only): if you authorize it, we may review your credit report via a soft inquiry, which does not affect your credit score. We never access credit information without your explicit permission.
- Technical information: standard website logs and analytics (pages visited, device type, approximate location). We keep this minimal.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the service: reviewing and explaining your financial offers, answering your questions, and if you ask broadening your search for options.
- To contact you in the ways you've consented to (text, phone, email).
- To operate, secure, and improve the service.
- To comply with legal obligations.
- We do not use your information for purposes unrelated to helping you make financial decisions.
3. SMS & your phone number
Your phone number and opt-in consent data are never shared with or sold to third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. If you opt in to SMS, we use your number to send account notifications and the messages you agreed to receive. Message frequency may vary, and standard message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time, or manage your preferences at our Manage Preferences page. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of any purchase.
5. Security
Your information is encrypted in transit and in storage. Access is limited to your advisor and the personnel who support the service. We review our security practices regularly.
6. Retention
We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the service and meet our legal obligations. When you request deletion (see below), we delete your information except where retention is required by law.
7. Your rights & choices
- Access and correction: ask us what we have and correct anything inaccurate.
- Deletion: request deletion of your information at any time via our preferences page. We'll confirm by email once complete.
- Opt-out of contact: stop any or all channels of contact at any time, reply STOP to texts, or use the preferences page.
- State privacy rights: depending on your state of residence (for example, California), you may have additional rights, including the right to know, delete, and correct. We honor these requests through the same preferences page or by emailing info@ask.trypennie.com.
We will never discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.
8. Children
Our services are for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly. We won't weaken the SMS no-sharing commitment in Section 3, that promise is the foundation of the service.
